About us

We’re not a big outfit, and we don’t want to be. Being a small, close-knit team means we can focus on the job at hand, invest in our people, and deliver high-quality work without spreading ourselves thin. We’re not trying to be the biggest, just the best at what we do; showing up when we say we will, working efficiently and thoroughly, and standing by the results.

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes, we sure are!

  • As registered plumbers and drainlayers, we make sure that all of our workmanship is compliant with local Council building standards.

Your home’s plumbing and drainage systems are complex networks of pipes and fittings that handle high pressures, temperatures, gas, and even electricity. Poor workmanship or unlicensed work can put your family's health and safety at risk, and may also void your insurance. That’s why it’s crucial to choose a registered professional. • Plumbing, drainlaying and gasfitting are skilled trades that require rigorous training and certification. In New Zealand, there are four or more levels of certification, each representing a different level of qualification and responsibility:

    1. Certifying - The highest qualification, where the person is fully qualified and registered. It takes at least 6 years of training and study. They are responsible for both their own work and that of anyone they supervise.

    2. Tradesman - Qualified and registered and usually work independently.  However, a certifying tradesperson (supervisor), is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the work is done competently.

    3. Restricted - Qualified with a trade certificate but not yet certified. They are registered and authorized to do the work under supervision.

    4. Limited Certificate/Trainee - In training and working under supervision of a certifying person who is ultimately responsible for ensuring the work is done competently.
